Grosse Ile is excited and proud to announce that Julia Noureddine has been named an MHSAA /Farm Bureau Insurance Scholar-Athlete Award winner. The MHSAA has hundreds of applicants that are reviewed numerous times by athletic directors across the state. Through that process Julia was one of nine athletes in Class B to receive the honor.
The Scholar-Athlete Award, sponsored by Farm Bureau Insurance in its 37th year, honors student-athletes who maintain a strong academic record (at least a 3.5 GPA), have earned a varsity letter in a sport sponsored by the Michigan High School Athletic Association, and demonstrate meaningful involvement in school and community activities. Each recipient receives a $2,000 college scholarship.
Julia has competed on numerous teams and been associated with a number of clubs and organizations here at Grosse Ile.
